Block → Slabs Calculator

Enter the block dimensions, desired slab thickness and expected saw kerf. Marble Thinks will estimate the number of slabs, total face area and usable area.

Calculate estimated slab yield

Choose a unit independently for every measurement.

Cut through Choose which block dimension the saw passes through to create slabs.
Estimated output
Estimated slabs—
Total face area—
Estimated saw loss—
Usable area after trim—

Estimate only. Actual yield depends on block squaring, defects, blade setup, resin treatment, trimming and production method.

How the block-to-slabs estimate works

The calculator divides the available cutting height by slab thickness plus kerf allowance, then calculates the face area of each slab from block length and width. It is intended as a planning estimate for marble, granite and other dimensional stone operations rather than a replacement for production-machine settings.
